Overlord updates: Funny Story


Funny story, chapter 3 is almost done (huge chapter, about 1/3 of volume), but chapter 2 part 3 and interlude are nowhere near completion.

Sene9ty is working on Volume 5, SifaV6 is working on Volume 7. The translations with each other won't clash, so we got that going for us.

Will be working with Ferro on Ch 2 part 3 when he returns and push for a release before next Thursday.

Apologies for the poor scheduling, will try to get the translation back on track so we can hand the baton to Sene9ty.

    Should I just start translating Vol 6? Seeing as you people are doing Vol 5 and 7 ahead of time then may as well do 6 as well. I'm tired of waiting too. Considering my speed, if I started now then I'll finish 6 by the time you guys finish translating 5.....probably. That way vol 6 and 7 might get done simultaneously....probably. So how about it?
    By the way, I don't really care where the tls are hosted, I'll just send you guys the tls to edit and proofread it out because that's better and it will produce better translations as well. You can just go ahead and host it here as long as the final product is near perfect.

      Sure, that sounds great.

      There are 4 different translators right now, and 3 are working ahead of the release schedule. This leaves Ferro working alone to keep to the release schedule, which is stressful.

      Anyway, do let me know where you are releasing the translation and i will link to you.

      Okay, I'll just send you the google doc on your e-mail when I'm done with the first chapter. But first let me read the remaining Vol 4 and Vol 5 in raw, I never really read it in raw and just waited for your translation.

    Thanks for the update. It sounds like even if this particular section is a bit delayed the series as a whole is moving along pretty quickly, which is great! Thanks for your efforts and don't sweat it.
