The problem is the HP, ViT and PoW. Using me who has 10 in all these stats as the standard, Goblin has 4 times the HP and 2.5 times the ViT. I charged in and hit the back of the Goblin’s head with a downwards strike. While it is stumbling, I hit it again. I lowered my stance to sweep the leg, knocking it down before whacking it repeatedly. I just keep whacking before the other Goblin comes. When Goblin B got here, Goblin A had stopped moving. Even if he isn’t dead, he will be out of action for now.
Goblin B attacks with its Club raised high, but its large movements paired with its small body made it easy to dodge. I counterattack after evading, then dodge and counterattack again.

The two Goblins didn’t move. To be safe, I give each of them a final blow, take their club as my victory prizes, then wash my face at the river.
I’m more exhausted mentally than physically. At the ending of the battle with Goblin B, I can see through all of its movements. My body wasn’t moving as I wanted, but I was still fast enough. Good enough for the first fight. There are many areas to improve, but I have to get used to battles first.
By the way, this feels like the first Different world thing that I have done, am I mistaken?
I went back to the Cave to rest, chewing on grilled mushrooms as I made a simple grid door with wood and vines. I picked all the wood that I can find, the only thing left to do is to dry and store them with Temperature Magic. Thank you, Item Bag.

Ugh~I’m hungry… This is the first time I woke up from hunger.
I will get hungry from using up my mana? Let’s grab a bite. There’s only mushrooms, so I grilled it with fire magic, chopped it up, then made it into a salad with boiled herbs. Hmm~I want salad sauce. The herb has a hint of bitterness, so I hope to add in another flavour. Speaking of a Different world, mayonnaise came to mind. But I only have mushrooms, so I can’t make it. It will surprise me more than getting summoned to a Different world if mushrooms can be used to make mayonnaise.
Anyway, I’m not hungry anymore and wide awake, so I washed my face. The sequence is all over the place, what a messy life in a Different world. Even though I’m alone.
I leveled up. It’s just Lv2, but I’m twice as strong as yesterday. But shouldn’t the difference feel more prominent since my stats doubled? I did feel stronger and faster, but it’s not obvious. Anyway, it’s taboo to believe the numbers blindly.

I can activate Mana Wrap with my will alone, and I tried running and sprinting freely. I’m fast, but more importantly, my reaction is quick. Instead of thinking about it first before taking action, I seem to be moving the moment I think about it. My reaction is faster, there are less unnecessary movements and I can move nimbly. But I will need to get used to it. But when I level up, I will need to get used to it again, there’s no end to this. If I’m bothered by this, then I will lose. Will I say 「I lose when I work」 one day?

The Goblins are level 11 and 9, a little strong. I decided to launch a quick attack. I close in with Walking, then swing my stick using the momentum. The hit felt solid, and Goblin A stopped moving. 「Did I kill it?」 I tried raising a flag, but it didn’t move. Come on, read the mood!
I dodged Goblin B’s club, duck under it’s armpit and attack from its back. I then pulled away to observe the situation and my surroundings.

I failed to raise any flags. The Goblins can’t read the mood, since they are dead.
This is much better than yesterday. Maybe I have gotten to fighting, or it’s the result of leveling up or Mana Wrap. It’s hard to verify, so it’s fine that I’m stronger now. Now I can fight Goblins. I don’t know any monsters aside from Goblins, or any food aside from mushrooms.
Did the effect of Mana Wrap extent to the 『stick?』 I don’t know what the difference is, but I’m definitely stronger.
I can still fight. The next two are level 7 and 8, and I dispatched them with one blow each. The further upstream I go, the weaker the monsters get. That was true when I got nearer to the river. It will be dangerous to head deep into the forest from the Cave. Since the Goblins are also moving, it’s hard to gauge, but this trend is probably true. I need to think up countermeasures… My goal is to become a Goblin expert! But I won’t take that test!

I took out the firewood and logs and put them in the Cave. They are actually trees that have fallen over or are broken. It will turn into firewood after drying, and can be turned into furniture or tools with some work. Also… I have even more clubs now. It might not be used, but let’s put a couple of them in the Item Bag. Better to be safe since I don’t have any other spare weapons.
After my bath, I lie down inside the tent. My back will hurt if I lie on the Cave floor, so I took out a sleeping bag and dealt with the problem with two layers of cushion. But I still want a bed. Even though I’m alone.
My level didn’t rise, it’s not that simple, I can’t be impatient about getting stronger. I have to consider the equipped Skill, train for it, test it in battle and then improve on the tactics. After performing all sorts of trial and error, I will establish my own way of fighting.
I can only work slowly and steadily towards bettering myself. But since I got transported to a Different world, even if I don’t have a Cheat, at least give me a hot blooded Skill or weapon. This Different world is too plain!
Don’t even think about it, plain and steady is important, they must have thought about that when they summoned High Schoolers before their exams. Well, my class didn’t meet that criteria though.
Mana Wrap is great and effective, or maybe leveling up and other effects helped too, but I can hold my own against Goblins. If I can beat them down before they call for their friends, I won’t get surrounded.
I defeated a level 13 Goblin with a sneak attack, but he was strong, and there must be even stronger ones. Even if my level didn’t increase, I might be able to increase my Skill level first, so I have to use my Skills frequently.
Next, I want a killer move, be it fight or flight, I can control the battle if I am fast enough. If I can master Movement I should be able to pull that off.
