Termination of Overlord translation project



We are sad to announce the demise of the Overlord light novel translation project. Ghoststaker has decided to pursue his dreams of ballet dancing, and we couldn’t carry on without him. All the best to you, Ghost.

In other news, the rest of the members are planning to film a life action movie adaptation of Overlord. Sene9ty is currently on diet in order to get in shape for his role of Ainz. Namorax is slated to reprise the role of Hamsuke and will be embarking on a journey into the forest to learn wisdom befitting a king.

To get the best sound and visual effects, Ferro and Exct had been collecting ‘props’ and samples from ‘volunteers’ on the streets to simulate the most realistic sound and images of horror and death possible. Fate Trooper, TaintedDream and Ken will be filling in for the roles of the combat maids, and is researching earnestly in maid cafes all over the world.

Though I tried to infuse the bad news with a bit of humour to soften the blow, we really are dropping the project, believe me.

    Would make it more believable if you release the epilogue chapter and remove the overlord schedule at the side, saying it is the final chapter that you will be doing and thus drop the LN/WN project ;-D

    To all the people who dont know Chinese or dont know how to find one novel in it. Chinese trans has completed until volume 5, volume 6 is at 80% and volume 7 at 20%.

    Just some info to reassure all the lost lamps.

    Übersetzungsbüro englisch Excellent points about contextualization of the debate. Reminds me of the adage that the considered alternative to MT should not be not human translation, but no translation at all.
