Everyone have their own opinion. And critics are always welcome. Especially for me as the writer of this series. Thank you for all the thoughts of this series and looking forward to next chapter. It was entertaining to read about people being slaughtered while they crap bricks out of fear. Especially when those people lived off killing the innocent with a clean conciousness. I really miss the first team Momon travelled with. Killing Foresight was a mistake, their characters had skills and motivations, they were like able. If anyone was good at finding supreme beings, that would've been Arche. We know the elves were spared, at least for the time being, by Hamuske. The details of Foresight are obvious. But, for Hamgreen's group, he and the rogue ere eaten by roaches after they were split up. The other warrior was caught and tortured. No mention of the magic caster after they were split up. I wonder if that's what Ainz' bad feeling was.Ashuronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13561341296759003543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4225665848364118863.post-8403922163848744552015-10-08T03:20:13.226+08:002015-10-08T03:20:13.226+08:00Side note, why is everyone assuming that the lizar...Side note, why is everyone assuming that the lizardmen are just being farmed? Through his actions, Ainz have brought them all together. He made them stronger. He apparently revived the other lizardmen like Zenberu. He decreed that Cocytus and Cocytus alone would be over them, and to come to him if he needed anything. Cocytus isn't the type to torture or farm them. There were no lizardmen undead. They have been moved into Nazarick for protection and to grow and prosper. They seem to be just as happy and even in charge of training Hamuske, who refers to them with high honorifics.Hamuske has value to Ainz as well and is still holding that sentient item.

Don't buy into what we know about Foresight. Ainz did not have this knowledge. It was intentionally written this way. Hell, even when necessary sacrifices were needed for that ploy in the Kingdom capital, which he wasn't completely aware of the details of, he ordered that any that didn't disrespect them (pretty much all of them) be mercifully killed, because, again, they couldn't go back, instead of being left to Demiurge and his machinations. Ainz didn't suddenly go monstrous or something. He's still AinzAshuronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13561341296759003543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4225665848364118863.post-64717701338531987592015-10-08T03:19:36.303+08:002015-10-08T03:19:36.303+08:00Also, even though he baited as a pre-emptive attac...Also, even though he baited as a pre-emptive attack on the Empire, he first openly asked them if any of them had any reason for doing what they were doing, and it was implied that he did so multiple times in their travels. The old guy replied that it was money and they all agreed with silence or nods. These are also workers, and not adventurers. Adventurers usually have some sense of honor about it, even if their attitudes aren't always agreeable. It means they're following the law at least. Workers work outside the law. That is their reputation. Foresight was the exception, not the rule. Yet they presented themselves as the rule. Whether they were comforting Arche or not, they decided to take an extremely risky, dangerous, questionable job for money. They didn't stand up for the abused and mutilated, elven slaves. They weren't particularly worried about Arche or her situation. They were concerned about replacing her to continue their jobs. They considered that there might be people living in there, but didn't care and were going to attack it anyway for the money. That's what workers do. It was thoroughly explained. Lost ruins with people living there? They consider them "illegal squatters" and it's okay to kill them. Then after more and more details of Nazarick were seen, they started more assumptions that maybe it was a golem. They continued on, only thinking of greed. They laughed at and mocked whoever was behind the tomb for only sending out skeletons and underestimating them, just as the old guy's group mocked the maids. They didn't consider actually going back until they were running low, and then surrounded in the arena and before Ainz. They asked to just leave. Ainz countered with questions of his own, which were valid. He showed a response and dude smugly thought he had the upper hand and started lying and trying to BS. He hit the big red button. Not only was that bad in itself, but Ainz was actually buying into it and gotten hopeful, only to have it dashed. He raged like we've never seen him rage before. He then declared, in the name of Ainz Ooal Gown, that they would die. You know how that goes for him personally already, but he also declared that in front of his Guardians. Before then, they had displayed themselves as nothing more than honorless, selfish, greedy thieves. But, after fighting with them, he started to calm himself and admire them, stated from how they felt his hostility vanishing. Then, finally, they showed some honor and sense of selflessness with the guy saving the half elf (and Ainz even defending his actions), then all trying to get Arche away. It was too late then. The order was given. So he showed a mercy at just incapacitating them, instead of making them suffer, and the order for the girl to die without mercy. There was no leaving Nazarick for them. I don't know why anyone else thinks otherwise.

Ashuronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13561341296759003543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4225665848364118863.post-4919207847194145652015-10-08T03:18:39.720+08:002015-10-08T03:18:39.720+08:00You guys do realize this is the reaction the autho...You guys do realize this is the reaction the author wants right? They want heroes on both sides. The only ones they've gone against that are just outright "evil" are the Slane Theocracy and underworld people.

Everyone is just upset now because, for the first time in the story, characters were developed and likable, but they didn't get the happy ending. Ainz didn't gain any insight on them and come up with an alternative route, and that's their fault. They showed their colors. It wasn't up to snuff.

Ainz is making himself known, as Momon, in the Kingdom and seems to be who he was leaning more to siding with. He's not "pretending" to be an undead. He IS an undead. He has his emotions controlled and his mindset has been changed. He also can't reveal himself to people because they will just judge him and his as monsters and immediately start attacking them. Hell. He feeds some info to the Empire and the first thing they want to do is attack him to try and subjugate him.

He had grown attached to the Swords of Darkness, despite his undead mentality, seen by how he was horrified by Clementine butchered them, even though he didn't give her the satisfaction of knowing he cared. They reminded him of his guild. He avenged them and even had keepsakes of them. And don't buy into him saying he was just hired for a job. Ainz doesn't hold back. He doesn't play around. He just kills and moves on. He made Clementine suffer for what she did.

Cocytus saw the value in the lizardmen, as a warrior, from how they sacrificed themselves for one another and their honor. This is something Ainz wants ALL of the Guardians to learn. This is also seen when he was just making sure no one had gotten to Sebas and gave him no grief over the girl, also, coincidentally, fulfilling the wish of the chick that pretended to be a guy in Swords of Darkness.

He wants them to stop just looking down on other races just because they're not from Nazarick. He now sees they can grow past their settings and want them to do so. Yet, he still has to walk a fine line because, due to those settings, they have certain expectations and he's afraid of potential betrayal. Not only would he then be truly alone, but if they decide he's not worthy, they are capable of killing him if they band together.

Ashuronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13561341296759003543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4225665848364118863.post-48993831061059546162015-10-06T20:42:02.909+08:002015-10-06T20:42:02.909+08:00The poll was for the original webnovel and the peo...The poll was for the original webnovel and the people voted to keep her alive. I don't see humans in the new world can just achieve a height like the 13 heroes do, just like parupatora he stated that the realm of heroes is beyond he's reach even in his prime he's like 80+ of age and another sample is fluder, he reached 200 years but he still lacking. So if you want to conquer the world it is much profitable to take in much powerful races than humans who can sure have exponential growth if trained correctly (and it can be said for other races too).
