Youjo Senki manga begins serialization at the end of April

Just like the upcoming anime, it will overtake the light novel fan translation pace in no time.
The art looks great, hope this will be the norm.

    1. It will be great if Yen Press licensed this now.
And people won't have the excuse of 'Yen Press will need ten years to catch up'.

    2. YP still need years to catch up the japanese raw cause high technical content. And i don't YP dare to publish "neo nazi" kind of books in west

    3. On one hand I wanna agree with you Sky. On the other, I look at YP's Overlord summary that is still wrong after 4 revisions (they got it right on the 3rd time but changed it again) and dread to think how it will go with something as difficult as Youjo. If I was a betting man, it would be YS being the next NGNL.

    4. what does NGNL stand for and what is the story behind it that you said that it would be the next NGNL?

      Thanks for your answers.

    1. People really should start to realize how irrational their hatred over Yen Press is, when even the fan translators are all but outright mocking that irrationality.

    2. To be fair its a perfectly normal part of human psychology - people hate it when things they used to have are taken away.

Granted in this case they had no actual rights to the thing they had as very few readers actually buy the untranslated work to support the author, and I doubt many if any would walk into a bookstore and feel right about just stealing a book and walking out(which is essentially what reading fan translations of an officially translated book is) people's hatred of losing things remains even if it isn't rational.

    3. People wouldn't complain if the quality OR speed matched fan translations...

    4. if Yen pres was to translate it i would buy it, just as i buy Spice and Wolf, No Game No Life, Overlord, To Aru Majutsu no Index, Legend of Galactic Heroes, Log Horizon, DRRR, and more... and then i would suddenly remember that i live in Poland where minimum wage is 1200PLN~~325$ and cry, and pay.

  9. An anime and a manga adaptation. How popular is this? From what I know the series is already up to 5 volumes in light novels. It must have sold well enough to get adaptations. Or is there a large demand for loli dictators.

  10. The manga came out i hope that someone can translated it because it has over 60 plus pages and tanya is drawn with the most beautifully crazy eyes that i have ever seen!!
